The Lee County Chamber of Commerce and Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting for The Flower Basket Thursday, June 26th They are locally owned and operated by Mr. Benny Porter, Mrs. Pat Porter, and managed by Mrs. Tibbie Watson. The Flower Basket specializes in fresh cut flower, plants, balloons, gift items, Plush Animal Bouquets, silk arrangements, and offer rentals on ferns, ficus trees, and palms. They are located at 2243 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA and have been serving the community for over 30 years. |

The Lee County Chamber of Commerce, Ambassadors, and the Lee Brach Steering Committee held a ribbon cutting for the local YMCA Thursday, June 26th, 2008. The office is located at 101-B Walnut Street in Leesburg. We look forward to the YMCA opening on Robert B. Lee Parkway late August 2008.
