On Thursday, March 13th 2025 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 18th Annual Under the Oaks Art Show and Reception in the restored Train Depot. We had 40 entries and a wonderful celebration of local talent. Congratulations to our winners! On Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, in partnership with the Lee County School System - LCSS and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce held the 2025 STAR Breakfast! The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors the most academically successful student based on their SAT scores (during one test administration), class standing, and scholastic averages. Congratulations to Lee County’s 2025 STAR Student, Christopher Dowling! Christopher chose Mrs. Lindsay Young as his STAR teacher, as she has had the greatest impact on his academic journey.

On Thursday, November 7th, 2024 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 35th Annual Dinner. It was a wonderful celebration of our community and the people and businesses that call it home! We mingled, enjoyed live music, and had a wonderful dinner with colleagues and friends! Continuing on the City of Leesburg’s 150th Anniversary celebration, we reflected on how far our community has come. Our resiliency and commitment to each other show exactly why life works well here!

On Saturday, October 19th the Lee County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Leesburg held the 3rd Annual ‘Burg Bash Festival! Vendors lined the field and tasty eats could be found anywhere you looked. Attendees enjoyed afternoon sounds from Thomas Merritt Band and danced the night away to tunes from Swingin' Medallions!

The Lee County Board of Education was proud to present the new teachers joining the Lee County School System this academic year! On July 24th, 2024 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Lee County School System, hosted the 2024 New Teachers Reception.

On Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Golf Classic at River Pointe Golf Club. Fifteen teams competed in a spirited 4-man scramble. Golfers enjoyed a day of competition, camaraderie, and networking amidst the beautiful day on the course. Thank you to all of our event and individual hole sponsors for supporting such a fun opportunity for our valued Chamber Members!

The Annual Under the Oaks Arts Show is a valued tradition at the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. The 17thAnnual 2024 Under the Oaks Arts Show featured local talent in a juried art show and sale. Following the show, the Chamber hosted an engaging Artist Reception showcasing live performances by talented youth, followed by a lively Business After Hours event. Awards were presented to outstanding entries in the Art and Photography categories, celebrating the creativity and artistic spirit of the community. Congratulations to the winners!

On Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 the Star Breakfast was held to honor Lee County High School Senior Addy Barden as she was named the school’s 2024 PAGE STAR student! Addy Barden chose Miss Danielle Whitaker as her Star Teacher and the person who has been most influential to her academic career.

The Annual Lee County Christmas Parade is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce on the 2nd Saturday in December. This cherished event features a vibrant parade with dazzling floats, twinkling Chirstmas lights, and local organizations showcasing their holiday spirit. After the parade concludes, a festival begins! The Christmas festival includes a variety of family friendly activities, craft booths, delicious food vendors and so much more! When neighbors come together to embrace the joy of the season, lasting memories are created and holiday cheer is spread throughout the county. We are even lucky enough that Santa Clause himself takes a ride through our wonderful community. Thank you to our sponsors for helping make this day a memorable experience for all!

The Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 34th Annual Dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday, November 2nd 2023. It was a memorable celebration to commend 34 years of local achievements and community spirit. Hosted at the Bindery at Oakland Library, the event brought together business leaders, community members, and local elected officials for an evening of networking, recognition, and inspiration. The night kicked off with a cocktail hour allowing attendees to catch up with colleagues and friends. As guests took their seats for dinner, the atmosphere brimmed with fellowship and celebration.
