On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Seymour Southern Comforts located at 202 Main St., Brownwood, GA! Seymour Southern Comforts is a residential care facility that specializes in senior care. They offer a beautiful and caring environment, excellent service, delicious food, and lots of activities. Residents enjoy beautifully painted murals all throughout the building and cozy spots to drink their morning coffee and enjoy fellowship. They are also working on starting an adult daycare program, so follow along their journey for more information! We are so thankful for our Chamber members who travel near and far to support one another, it is evident how much they care about their community and region! On Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Albany Area YMCA Lee Count y branch located at 316 Robert B Lee Drive, Leesburg GA! This Ribbon Cutting marks their new hours of operation: 24/7!! That’s right, the Albany Area YMCA Lee County location will be open for business 24 hours a day 7 days a week for those with a 24/7 access membership. Standard access hours are Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM -12:00 PM / 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM & Saturday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The Albany Area YMCA Lee County location is proud to specialize in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Their family friendly environment along with their attentive and welcoming staff set the YMCA’s youth and adult programs apart from their competition. 

On Thursday, April 17th, 2025 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Two Men And A Truck - Valdosta/Albany, GA, located at 613 Fussell Road, Leesburg GA! Open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturdays, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK specializes in helping people move from homes, dorms, apartments, and more. Their professionally trained staff, customer service, and ability to move you across town or across the country is what sets them apart from their competition. 

On Thursday, January 16th, 2025, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for 7 Brew Coffee, located at 1379 US-82 W, Leesburg GA 31763! 7 Brew specializes in all kinds of different drinks! They have over 20,000 drink combinations and more sugar free options than anyone else on the market! Their team, energy, speed of service, and customization truly set them apart from their competition. Although they are a big franchise chain, 7 Brew in Lee County is a small family-owned business that is proud to be in our community. 

On Friday, November 15th, 2024, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening celebration for First National Bank, located at 1559 US Highway 19 S. Leesburg, GA 31763! On Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia held a Ribbon cutting to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Girl Scouts DreamLab! Located inside the Walmart on Ledo Road, 2825 Ledo Rd - Albany. What is a Girl Scout DreamLab? It’s a flexible space that evolves to meet the interests and hobbies of girls today. Whether that is coding and programming a robot, recording a podcast, culinary exploration, or more, the Girl Scout DreamLab is a showplace of the Girl Scout experience in action.

On Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for AMG Mobile Detailing LLC! AMG is an Auto Mobile Detailing company that specializes in standard auto detailing, paint corrections, ceramic coating, oxidation removal, stain and odor control, and more! Owner Earl Guest focuses on honesty and integrity and it’s evident in the quality relationships he has built with his clients.

On Friday, September 13th, 2024, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Superior Site Services, located at 336 GA Hwy 32 E – Leesburg, GA. Superior Site Services is a construction site and utility company that specializes in clearing, site preparation and underground utilities. On Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for the Heart & Soul Boutique located at 1451 US Highway 19 Suite B, Leesburg, GA. Owner Katie Carter is thrilled to open her boutique to the public and is excited to share the apparel that is exclusive to her store!
