It was a beautiful day on the green for the Lee County Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Annual Golf Classic! Held Wednesday, April 30th at River Point Golf Club, 22 teams were divided into two flights and ranked 1st through 3rd place with cash prizes! On Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Seymour Southern Comforts located at 202 Main St., Brownwood, GA! Seymour Southern Comforts is a residential care facility that specializes in senior care. They offer a beautiful and caring environment, excellent service, delicious food, and lots of activities. Residents enjoy beautifully painted murals all throughout the building and cozy spots to drink their morning coffee and enjoy fellowship. They are also working on starting an adult daycare program, so follow along their journey for more information! We are so thankful for our Chamber members who travel near and far to support one another, it is evident how much they care about their community and region! On Thursday, April 17th, 2025 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for Two Men And A Truck - Valdosta/Albany, GA, located at 613 Fussell Road, Leesburg GA! Open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F and 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on Saturdays, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK specializes in helping people move from homes, dorms, apartments, and more. Their professionally trained staff, customer service, and ability to move you across town or across the country is what sets them apart from their competition. 

On Thursday, March 13th 2025 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 18th Annual Under the Oaks Art Show and Reception in the restored Train Depot. We had 40 entries and a wonderful celebration of local talent. Congratulations to our winners! On Thursday, January 16th, 2025, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting for 7 Brew Coffee, located at 1379 US-82 W, Leesburg GA 31763! 7 Brew specializes in all kinds of different drinks! They have over 20,000 drink combinations and more sugar free options than anyone else on the market! Their team, energy, speed of service, and customization truly set them apart from their competition. Although they are a big franchise chain, 7 Brew in Lee County is a small family-owned business that is proud to be in our community. 

On Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, in partnership with the Lee County School System - LCSS and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation, the Lee County Chamber of Commerce held the 2025 STAR Breakfast! The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program honors the most academically successful student based on their SAT scores (during one test administration), class standing, and scholastic averages. Congratulations to Lee County’s 2025 STAR Student, Christopher Dowling! Christopher chose Mrs. Lindsay Young as his STAR teacher, as she has had the greatest impact on his academic journey.

On Thursday, November 7th, 2024 the Lee County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 35th Annual Dinner. It was a wonderful celebration of our community and the people and businesses that call it home! We mingled, enjoyed live music, and had a wonderful dinner with colleagues and friends! Continuing on the City of Leesburg’s 150th Anniversary celebration, we reflected on how far our community has come. Our resiliency and commitment to each other show exactly why life works well here!
